Homegrow
Homegrow phased in
Home cultivation for adult use — up to six plants per person (three mature) and twelve per household — is phased in under Office of Cannabis Management regulations; registered medical patients gained homegrow rights first. Verify current OCM timing before relying on adult-use homegrow. Plants must be secure and not visible from public spaces.
Online Delivery
Licensed delivery allowed
Delivery by OCM-licensed operators is permitted statewide, including into municipalities that opted out of storefront retail. Delivery vehicles are subject to product-quantity limits and security rules. Interstate transport remains federally prohibited.
Possession
3 oz flower / 24 g concentrate
Adults 21+ may possess up to 3 oz of cannabis flower and 24 g of concentrate; at home, larger personal amounts stored securely are allowed. Smoking cannabis is generally permitted wherever tobacco smoking is allowed, with exceptions such as parks, schools and cars. Possession above the limits can still be charged.
Retail Sale
OCM-licensed retail
Retail sales are only legal through OCM-licensed dispensaries, and the state actively enforces against the large unlicensed market. Early conditional licenses prioritized applicants impacted by past prohibition. Municipalities had a one-time option to opt out of retail stores and on-site consumption lounges.
